The new Beast / B+BTec AquaSpeed™ Carbide Hammer Drilling System is a game changing tool that offerrs unparalleled drilling speed, increased bit life & substantial cost savings when compared to conventional hammer drilling methods.
The AquaSpeed PRO™ SDS-Max Hammer Drilling System uses coolant water to achieve very high penetrating rates while maintaining a limited degree of carbide wear.
The AquaSpeed PRO™ System features exchangeable carbide tips that are fitting onto 4" or 8" drilling shafts and can be used with regular SDS-Mas Rotary hammers. Drilling shafts can be coupled for deeper holes.
The exchangeable carbide tip diameters range from 5/8" up to 1-3/8"mm, making the AquaSpeed PRO System highly suited for anchoring & rebar doweling applications.
Because the AquaSpeed PRO™ System uses coolant water that removes drill sludge from the bore hole along with the water, the operator no longer has to perform a "pumping action" while drilling to retrieve drill dust. The coolant water also prevents the bit from clogging, which is often the case when drilling in humid concrete or when drilling through plastic tubing using conventional hollow vacuum carbide bits.
The use of the Aquaspeed PRO™ System offers substantial cost savings compared to traditional SDS-Max Bits. First of all the drilling shafts are subjected to far less wear beacause of contact to the bore hole wall, resulting in a prolonged tool life.
Furthermore the carbide tips offer an increased bit life due to the cooling effect of the water and can simply be exchanged when worn out, avoiding the need to buy an often very expensive new bit.
Also because the AquaSpeed PRO™ System is dust free it doesn't require the use of vacuum units, costly filter bags and suction units.
